In August last year, after many balls of tangled yarn.... many a swear word... and many a thrown crochet hook - I finally taught myself how to crochet! I started small with a couple of granny squares and a little flower motif... then threw myself into the deep end completing a skull shawl for a dear friend.
Fast forward to today and I have just completed this chevron baby blanket as a gift for the future arrival of my dear friends little bundle.
I worked on it over the course of a week - working a row or two on my lunch break and a couple at night - once you get in the swing of things, it works up quite quickly and easily. Once it was done, i sewed in all the loose ends and gave it a quick steam to finish it off.
More photos to follow.
